Youth Mentoring Scheme

The Mentoring Project supports young people who face multiple challenges varying from inclusion in school, confidence, clear boundaries, transition periods etc.  We aim to provide 1:1 volunteer mentors to support up to 24 young people aged 11-17 who live within the Hanwell Big Local Area. The mentors will be hand-picked for each young person and they commit to a 6 month relationship, supporting and journeying with their mentee.

Our Youth Mentoring Project is well on its way to achieve great success with the young people in our community.

Since the start of this project, we have successfully recruited and trained seven Youth Mentors in Safeguarding and the ‘Make It’ Mentoring Programme.

Our Mentors have been trained on how to act as a guide and a positive role model to these young people, allowing them to building a positive relationship with an adult outside of their family or peer group within a safe space to reflect upon their thoughts and ideas.

If you know a young person who lives in HBL area that could benefit from mentoring please contact EASE on 0208 575 6139.
